I found a thing. It's not a thing I need right now, but some day I might. It also could be a thing that someone else here might need now or in the future. (Or even in the past, shoot, I dunno.) This thing is a .pdf file with exploded diagrams details, and PART NUMBERS of the entire VMM R42* short block. And I mean ENTIRE. Every single little thing, (and big of course, as well) The problem with this thing, is , I don't know how to upload .pdf files. The other problem is, the text is in Italian. I will attempt to link the file address, at least. epages.kelyansmc.it/isroot/VM/Images/pdfgenerated/BAS2003.pdf |

This could be very useful but I couldn't get link to work. Perhaps someone with more computer savvy could access it directly and then use a translator tool to get it converted to english. |

Converted and added an english language table, see second table in this pdf document, not the greatest. ![]() https://www.dropbox.com/s/1wha5a8dn3aw8 ... 2.pdf?dl=0 This link works: Original File: http://epages.kelyansmc.it/isroot/VM/Im ... In my experience a short block is the everything below the head and above the oil pan . A long block includes the cylinder head and anything above it. Both exclude accessories such as alternator, ac compressor etc. It doesn't have anything to do with the length of the block or two versions of the engine itself just the portion of the engine . |
