Hello, does anybody know if the transmission tube from the 2006 jeep liberty crd is the same as the gasoline one ? I was going to check my transmission oil and the whole tube came off. I also feel a kick when i let go off the break or when i press lightly on the gas peddle. Thank you

You’d have to search the parts catalogs to find an exact answer.
Might also crossover with a Cherokee or Ram of similar year with 545rfe transmission.

Same thing happened to me with the tube.
I replaced the broken section with a equal length of rubber hose.
Not the easiest or best solution but it works.

I have the same symptoms as you. My oil level is ok.
Thought it might have been rear upper ball joint but all is good there.

Was recently reading about the ATF indicator being too long causing a underfill condition.
Assuming it still has to be addressed using replacement OEM parts?

I would get ATF4 to full mark on current dipstick. Then add one quart ATF4 check fluid level again and mark the dipstick at that level Then add another quart and mark that level (maybe with a file) Then after you have those marks remove about 1 1/2 inches off the end of the dipstick (I just ground mine off). Then use your new marks for 1quart overfill and 2 quart overfill as the new nl range for transmission fluid.

Thanks, I seen the OP was a first time poster and since I just heard about it figured they might not have.
