I read that as it would be factoring in the ambient temp sensor reading, but after reading it again I believe it just means that ambient temps below 30 will throw off the low pressure switch reading and cause it to open regardless of pressure
The low pressure switch is on the AC accumulator, that should still be a switch and not transducer, so open/closed.
this also means you should be able to jumper it to test if that is the issue, the AC system should not run with low pressure switch open.
