I have almost finished the cylinder head rebuild, just doing a drip test now!

I know this is a noob question, but how often should you rebuild the engine block/piston rings? I have 210,000 kms (130k miles), I'd like to get another 130k miles out of her.

That block is brand new. Put it back together with a 2-hole head gasket, copper spray sealer, ARP studs... And run it.

Over 125 CRDs currently driving with my timing belt, rockers, or ARP Studs.
Bad noises = REALLY bad things.

Use proper engine oil and quality filter, and change it regularly.

It will likely still show the crosshatch on the cylinder liners at the next couple timing belt / exhaust valve changes.
