Torque converter shudder is somewhat controllable using the OD lockout button and by letting off the go petal when you feel it coming on.
The Stage IV Hot Tune is probably producing well over 500 Nm at full power so it takes a good TC to handle it.
These are the known torque converter ratings:
Stock Mopar OEM TC is rated for 300 ft. lbs. max (406 Nm)
Mopar Euro TC is rated for 400 ft. lbs. max (~ 542 Nm)
Hemi TC is rated for? (have not seen a rating listed)
Suncoast CRD-1ES TC is rated for 600 ft. lbs. max (813 Nm)
