Hey Folks, Full transparency: only semi-motivated to sell but if I can get my asking price, or close to it, then that will definitely sway me. Nowadays I'm just wanting a basic pick-up, no frills (i.e. tacoma, mazda b, ranger, isuzu). Here's the story: Bought this Jeep in December 2018 with 95k in Santa Fe, NM. Drove it back to Northern Cali and then cross country to Connecticut (averaged 35mpg with a full car) where it now resides with 109k and counting. Has yet to see a New England winter so this is a rust-free vehicle. During my time I have upgraded/replaced... -Timing Belt, Water Pump, Thermostat -ARP Cylinder Head Stud Kit -Rocker Arm and Lifter Set -EGR Delete (CRD Intake elbow kit stage 1 and 2) -GDE Eco Tune -Serpentine Belt -Hayden heavy duty fan clutch -Silicone intercooler hose kit -Silicone Turbo Inlet hose One issue of note: While driving cross country, stopped for an oil change in Denver dealership. Few hundred miles oil light came on. Found no oil in the car. Put some more in that I had on hand and saw it leaking from the oil filter. Filter apparently hadn't been tightened properly as I could tighten it with my hand! Anyway, was able to tighten the filter properly with my filter wrench and drove a mile down the road to Napa to top off my oil. Drove home the rest of the way, and still drive the car now, but there is a high pitch whistling noise during acceleration. Couple different mechanics have said Turbocharger will need to be replaced. With that said, the car has not lost any function for now, but I will end up replacing the turbo anyway in the next month or so. Asking: $9,000 as is or $9,900 if I end up replacing the turbo in the near future. Feel free to make offers or ask questions. Could deliver to you depending on how far for small fee. Can send more pics for those interested. Thanks for looking. -Elan |

Pics would certainly help for those interested you may want to host them offsite such as Imgur. With that history even though you have done a lot of upgrades and maintenance and low miles etc I doubt you will get many offers near that asking price . |

I appreciate the feedback. It's always kind of hard to price these things because ideally you want some return on the money you invested into the upgrades/repairs. Gotta aim high right?! Anyway, I'm definitely willing to entertain offers. I know I said I was not super motivated to sell but after making that post it seems the reality is settling in that I just want to move on from it. Found a 1999 Mazda B2500 nearby- manual locks, hand-cranked windows, just the basics. Will work on getting some photos posted off site. Best reasonable offer will take it. |

That would certainly help and you may get a better price on craigslist etc especially as winter weather sets in. |

I have located an 05 CRD with 195k, not running, and he is only asking 2200 for it. One owner. Southern rust free with body and interior in great shape. Working with owner and if we can make a deal I may buy it to fix for resale. Probably broke or stripped some teeth on the TB based on what he has told me. Stay tuned!
