I recently filled up with fuel and left the engine running as usual. Drove a mile down the road and it felt like I dropped a cylinder by the time I got turned around to go back ( my first assumption was that I had dropped a load of gas in the tank accidentally) I was down to 2 cylinders so I just pulled over and shut down. Wait 30 seconds restart and all is normal and drove home and been driving normally with no issues. ??????? Anybody care to guess even a wag is cool but I have ruled out time dilation and gravity reversal. Thank you for your time |

You were probably hit with an electromagnetic (EM) cannon. The latest weapon deployed by the California Automotive Resistance Brotherhood, a.k.a "The REAL C.A.R.B." Their goal is return to heydays of muscle cars, carburators, and points ingnitions. They feel that all electronic controls should be banned from cars and trucks. Your only defense is to wrap your ECM in tin foil! If you dont believe me, go to the Pomona Auto Swap Meet at the fairgrounds. You'll see what I mean. Wear your favorite "Rat Fink" t-shirt and you will be accepted as one of them. Crazy conspiaracy theories aside, you either... A. got a cruddy tank of fuel and might have to change your fuel filter soon. Or B. experienced a temporary sensor fault that corrected itself |

Mine will do this occasionally and bleeding the air makes a significant improvement in low speed operation. |

Mine happen to run on 3 but it will never run on 2 , it will just dies..... I have a pin on the harness to ECM connector that is loose |

Over 100 miles later problem has not repeated and I have done nothing but drive it |

Thank you for your time Maybe you sucked some aerated fuel into the fuel filter if you left the engine running. |

Aerated fuel shouldn't be an issue once it hits the filter... BUT it is possible that you stirred up some guck and that got into the filter. If the performance suffers again, it will likely be filter time. What you describe sounds like a filter at the end of its life. |

Happened to me once but never happened again. No known cause. |
