Does anyone have a checklist of items I should replace when swapping transmissions in my CRD? I've searched the site, but can't find anything definitive.

Just flush the lines and replace the trans and converter, PNH has a great low stall converter for a great price the part number is 5450LSRV, and have a trans shop install the transgo HD2 shift kit and you are good to go. I have a local trans shop install the shift kits for me

I think its the Transgo HD 2 shift kit (typo) I would also add to replace the front pump if it has not been replaced before.

The parts in the shift kit also address the pump issues, my trans shop installs them when they do them for me, and it only costs me 300 to have the whole kit professionally installed

Yes, it addresses the fluid flow back problem but for about $150 last time I checked I would rather have a rebuilt front pump and personally I would leave off the Transgo kit. I really can't tell any significant difference with the shift kit but it doesn't hurt anything. Most shops that are not buddies charge at least $300 just to remove and replace the transmission for that I would rather spend additional $150 for front pump and not spend the $50 for the Transgo kit I did mine myself though 4 times and don't want to do it again.
