I getting a clunk noise from the suspension when accelerating from a stop.
Sometimes it sounds like the front, sometimes the rear.
I suspect its the rear upper boomerang but when I've checked it the ball joint seems to have no play and the bushings seem fine.
Rear lower arms seem fine too.

Any suggestions?

Flash,
I had similar noise for a while last year. I did notice that the rear ant sway bar was bumping the counterweight at the front of the differential. Thus I deduced that the differential was rotating even tough there were no signs of play at the ball joint of the boomerang. I had it replaced, the entire boomerang, cheaper than removing it pressing out and in a new ball joint, and the noise, and the bumping are gone. :D

Jacked the front wheels off the ground and crawled underneath with a pry bar.

Definitely a clunk from the front. One of the upper control arm bolts was loose.

Rear upper and lower control arm bushings all seem good.
However, the shock bushings seem loose.

Tightened the front upper arm bolts and took it for a drive.
The loud clunk I was hearing before is gone.
Going over speed bumps I hear a light clunk from the rear shocks.
