Where would I get info to install one. Tom Wood Driveshafts was no help.

I'm not sure if a SYE is available for that application: 2005 231TC 32 spline (?)

Kinda surprised that Tom Woods couldn't help; I've bought multiple shafts from them in the past and they've always been really knowledgeable and helpful. What did you run into with them? The 32-spline NP231 is a pretty common transfer case.

Thanks for the reply. The guy I talked to had no idea how many splines. Is it 27 or 32? The 231 for the lib has a different 231 TC than the XJ or TJ. I've bought stuff from them many years ago and had good communications, but this guy ?????

From some internet searching I've found some info, it involves cutting / modifying the rear output shaft (??)

I have an appointment Monday morning at a local driveline shop.
