I got this PN from here a while back and got one from Advance Auto.

It doesnt seem to thread on. Anyone else have an issue with this part ?

This is supposed to be the upgraded, greased decoupler.

Thanks

Have these PN's on file: Litens 920720 or 920834A
Looks like you got the wrong PN? :banghead:

As stated by WW, you need 920834A. Or you can get a Gates 37015P on Amazon for $46.

I did have trouble on my last one. The metal spacer did not come off the alternator shaft with the old pulley. The new pulley would not thread on with the spacer still attached. I had to use a screwdriver to carefully pry the spacer off the shaft. I also had to clean up the threads on the shaft with a metric die. I used an impact to spin the old pulley off and it buggered the threads slightly.

That was it.....spacer did not come off with old decoupler. Pried that off and the 920834A went right on, The spacer that was on the alternator shaft is not readily apparent and appears like it belongs there. Thanks !

I read thread and answers and went :?: because the part number was the correct one but later saw it must have been edited to show the correct one. But great solution offered this is obviously where experience with that actual problem makes all the difference. Good work!!!
