Awesome thanks guys, looks like the plastic valve is in good condition so I'll get that pinned back up as high as I can and call it fixed!

Hey ya’ll I was bouncing around the trail and this tube started hanging and dragging the ground as I drove. I’ve got it tucked away now, everything is driving fine but what is this thing and should I be concerned? https://imgur.com/gallery/31Rdd3p |

Check the plastic valve on the end for damage, replace if necessary. It should be up as high as you can reasonably get it to prevent water ingress. |

It is the vent hose for the transfer case. |
