Took mine on a 820 mile highway run last week. Ran it very hard (70mph+) all day long and blew it out on mountain grades, definately no attempt to stretch fuel mileage. First tank (B20) went 470 miles, refueled with 17.7 gal of gutt-rot dino. OMG, what a racket that made, my friend (owns a TDI) even noticed the difference. Overall on the trip 820 miles/32.5 gal=25.2 mpg. Have 14K on it after this trip. |

I just got back from a 2000 mile trip. First to Sacramento 600 miles on dino with 4 people and all our stuff I got about 23-24, On the way back with dino 27-28. Then I went to Salt Lake with just me, 400 miles on b 20 and got 28-29 and on the way back with an aluminum boat on b 100 I got 20-21. The aluminum boat pull was my all time worst mileage. Even worse than my first tank, total miles almost 28,000. |

Since I installed the mods I am pulling better mileage. I wll run it for a while a post another report. Sure wish I could get a hold of B20 or anything for that matter but to date, here in the Virginia Beach area, there's no retailers. |

Check out www.biodiesel.org for both listed retailers and distributers that can refer you to a retailer. I also get B100 in 5 gal fuel cans and splash blend as needed. The place I buy B100 doesn't look like a retail gas station, they are an oil supplier with a few ag fuel pumps outside. They keep the B100 tank inside a barn. If you do find B100, you probably want to ask for B99 blend (tax incentived B100) to take advantage of the $1/gal tax credit. There should be a subtantial price difference if the retailer has the IRS blending permit and isn't trying to pocket the tax credit. |

Thanks for the info - I have looked on that site before and, in fact, located a wholesaler in Suffolk VA but they didn't seem too eager to talk retail over the phone. Maybe I'll just go to the facility. |

Just filled up with B20 biodeisel and am getting significantly better mileage. About 26 city so far., about 4mpg better. Also fuel is cheaper than #2 diesel (around here anyway). I'm amazed . . . this is the sort of mileage I was hoping for when I bought the CRD. |

We took our CRD on a pretty long trip, cruise control set to 65mph 98% of the time. 7500miles on the CRD. Only got 27mpg. I guess its the gas we got here in the northeast, I keep seeing people getting 30+ on long highway trips. |

About how many miles do you have on your rig getting 26 city? Is that actual calculation on the miles/gallon or using the overhead computer? Mine isn't real acurate, off anywhere from .5 to 2 mpg compared to actual. |
