I’ve installed Transgo kit and it’s been a few weeks. Tranny is going through it’s settling period I guess, but shifts are depressingly mushy and not really improving. If it is what it is I’m fine but I thought maybe I’d install resistor to give a try. I think I know where it goes but not sure exactly, between two wire on that connector but the connector has three wires in it. Anyone able to give more specifics on this? The Transgo instructions didn’t even mention it.

I am not familiar with it except to tell you as you probably already know that : !. The resistor is not felt necessary and @. I could tell very little if any difference after the transgo kit. Also several have suggested the Sonnex addition to increase line pressure which I didn't do so have no observations on it. I also didn't replace the front pump or do anything with the drain back valve.

Yes I’ve read that too, and also read the opposite that it makes too much difference, and also some indicate that it doesn’t help 05+ vehicles. So, I dunno. Also it’s doing the same thing as the Sonnax from what I understand. I’d decided to leave it out but the shifts aren’t quite as firm as I’d hoped so I figured I’d try it since I have it anyway.

I have often thought about if one could wire in a variable pot & have it in the cabin so you could adjust to suit or have a resistor through a switch for when you want crisper changes.

PS. Australians dont normally drink Fosters, we send it overseas. We keep the good stuff here.
