Does anyone have a recommendation for where to source a replacement connector for the intake (not manifold) air pressure sensor on an '05 CRD? Mine has disintegrated and while I've got zip ties keeping things together for now, I'd really prefer to repair it correctly.

I've run into anecdotal evidence suggesting that Chrysler p/n 68032284AA may be usable, but at $40 that's a lot of money for a connector.

Yep. That's where I got the 68032284AA part number from. If I have to drop $40 on it, so be it... But that still strikes me as excessive.

Possibly. I'll see what's there when I go headlight hunting, but dunno where on the gassers (which is all we see in the junkyards around here) a connector like that might be.

May have found just the connector; it looks to be Mercedes-Benz part no. 2105402181. The site calls it a siren (much like Chrysler does for their wiring repair kit) for a 2017 Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG, but price and image searches seem to suggest that it is actually the correct part.

https://mbparts.mbusa.com/oem-parts/mer ... 2105402181

Worked out to around $9.50 shipped, which is about 25% of the price that I was finding on the Mopar wiring repair kit. Will confirm once it gets here.

FWIW, the Bosch part number for the intake pressure sensor (aka 'Mercedes Sensor') on the CRD is 0261230189, and is the same sensor found on the diesel Sprinter vans (amongst others) in certain years. I used that info to work backwards from in order to track down the connector.

Confirmed - the Mercedes-Benz connector is a 100% replacement for the OEM one (which, judging by the marks on it, was also sourced from MBZ).

Details of how to get the connector apart are in this thread. Overall, the job isn't too bad - I just figured it would be helpful to describe how to disassemble it since that may not be totally obvious.

Very good detective work casm! :BINGO:

Thanks for sharing, I added the info to my collected data file for future reference.

This is what I have on file now for this part & connector, let me know if you spot anything incorrect.
