I realise this doesn't directly answer your question, but how badly damaged is your existing shroud, and why does it need replacement?

There are some modifications that can be done that still give some help with airflow while removing certain problematic pieces (like the lower moulding).

According to what I can find on the online Mopar Parts Websites, the Gas models of the same year models use the same Part Number (fan shroud) if you want to try and find one in a boneyard.
Gas model would have to be equipped with the heavy duty cooling system from the factory.
or
:google: Part Number: 52080127AA

Plenty of new ones showing as being available online.
Mopar Parts Online, Amazon, eBay, etc...

Genuine Chrysler 52080127AA Fan Shroud ~80 bucks new.

Unless you can directly attribute running warm or overheating to it, leave it as-is. Chances are it was cut to make it possible to remove it with the fan in place, which is a pretty common modification and doesn't typically impact cooling. Mine's like this, and if you are having cooling problems, I'd advise looking at other potential problem areas first.

Very familiar with the weather there - I'm an ex-SoCal resident who drove out to Las Vegas four or five times a year for conferences for many years. Also did a lot of off-roading in the Mojave / Sonoma deserts in CA, NV, and AZ. We now also live in a part of the country with a 110°F temperature spread (meaning 0°F to 110°F) throughout the year, so the importance of bulletproof cooling isn't lost on me - I know what it means to not be able to turn your rig off because heat soak will make it impossible to restart unless you let it cool down for at least a couple of hours if you do.

Here's what I'd recommend, given that it's coming up on the cool part of the year:

Don't replace the shroud. I'm not saying that doing so is pointless - but the lower part of the shroud does very little from a cooling perspective.

Can you post a couple of photos of the condition it's in? This would help greatly to determine how necessary it might be.
