Post subject:  Glow Plug Identification and Recommendation

I've pulled all four glow plugs, and they appear to not be the original ceramics, but they have no identifying marks on them at all. I thought both the bosch 5v and the etecno 7v had markings (based on the pictures at online sellers). The rubber rings on the ends of these are white. Is this 7v Bosch, Mopar, other? I have no complaints with cold starts, but I will replace with 5v Bosch while I have the intake/valve cover off if that is recommended.
Thanks!

If you can't make out any markings on the barrel, then the colored ring is the identifier. White is 7V ceramic, red is 5V steel, and I don't recall the 7V Etecnos (black?).

Thanks. The ring looks white to me (see pic above) but the profile of the tip doesn't match up with what I thought the ceramics looked like (not tapered with a little nub at the tip). You can see in the other picture I posted above the tapered tip profile on the ones that came out of my engine. With no markings I guess these will be a mystery.

I ended up buying and installing 4 new 5v bosch plugs. The new ones had red rings and were exactly the same length as my old ones. I'm still wrapping up. A timing belt rocker head stud job on it so haven't tried to start it yet.
