 Post subject: Head bolt torque?

I am at a loss here, what the heck does this mean?

1. Tighten all cylinder head bolts starting from the center bolts, following the cylinder head scheme and the following sequence: 3-2-1-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18.

Tighten to what?

Are you using OEM head bolts or ARP Head Studs?

Head Bolt Tightening Instructions from the Factory Service Manual: wrote:
a. Tighten all cylinder head bolts to 30 N.m (22
ft.lbs.) starting from the center bolts, following the
cylinder head scheme and the following sequence:
3-2-1-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18. (Fig.
45).
b. Without loosening any bolts, starting from the
center bolts, tighten each bolt an additional 75° in
the following sequence: 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1. (Fig. 45).
c. Tighten the lateral cylinder head bolts an additional
50° in the following sequence: 11-12-13-14-15-
16-17-18. (Fig. 45).
d. Finally tighten all bolts an additional 75° in the
following sequence: 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-11-12-13-14-
15-16-17-18. (Fig. 45).

OEM head bolts, I did notice that in the 2005 FSM it does state 22FT LBS but it does not in the 2006, that seems like a huge oversight.

If I recall correctly, you tighten to a certain torque then finish with so many "degrees". Let me find what I used, I think it was a sticky from this forum.
