I’m looking to buy a IAP sensor I think that’s what it is, under the MAF sensor. I was looking and say that Sasquatch parts has one for 50 dollars but IdParts has it for 30 is it something that I should pay the extra 20 (plus shipping) for? |

Just make sure the part you are buying is a genuine Bosch Part and not some cheap chinism counterfeit knockoff. These are the part numbers you can Google. IAP sensor – OEM part no.: 05101120AB (intake air pressure sensor on side of airbox) air inlet air pressure comparator pressure sensor on the side of the air box; sometimes referred to as the “Mercedes sensor” • Bosch part no.: 0261230189. • Mercedes OEM part no.: A0051535028 • Autozone part no.: 0261230189 |

I have occassionally had good luck getting Bosch sensors from Summit Racing for a good price. It is hit and miss though. Just search by the Bosch part number. |

For what it is worth, MANY of the parts for sale on Sasquatch's site are in fact sourced from IDparts first. |

Agreed, Summit can be a good source for parts, but the only down side is their shipping charges if you don't spend over $100 dollars. After you add shipping charges to their less expensive items, you might be able to purchase them from other vendors who provide free shipping for less money. It pays to shop around. AutoZone provides free shipping on most online items or you can order and pickup in a store. I also discovered years ago when I had to replace my crankshaft sensor that some of AutoZone's sensors in their Duralast line are reboxed Bosch or OEM parts which is a plus. |
