 Post subject: Drain the oil to remove turbo?

The title pretty much sums it up, if I am going to be removing the turbo should I drain the oil before doing that or would it be fine if I didn’t?

No, just let it sit for a while before removing it. Be sure to plug the hole in the block so contaminants and moisture don't collect in the crank case.
