I did a smoke test on my car and there was smoke coming out of the PCV/CCV valve what are the symptoms for this?

Can you clarify what you did and what you saw? A smoke test where? Smoke came out of where?

I blew smoke through the intake hose that connected to the air box. The smoke Came out through the bottom of the PCV valve.

Are you saying it escaped between the CCV puck and valve/cam cover? If so, you have a leak between the puck and cover that needs to be addressed.

Yes I wasn’t sure if it was the puck itself or not.

There are two O rings that seal the CCV Puck to the top of the valve cover.
IDParts can supply a new CCV Puck and the O rings.

Would there be any codes if there was a bad puck? Or would I have to physically inspect it to find out?

There is no electronics associated with this part.
