I'm trying to replace the gearbox mount on my UK spec 2.8 CRD 6 speed manual, but the part has been discontinued, mopar 52129158af. Has anyone come up with an alternative solution to the genuine part, I'm struggling to find anything. Thanks. |

Ok, no reply to this, so I guess you guys don't have many six speed manuals. I did manage to get the mount from a supplier in Europe, cost a fortune and took a while to arrive, but only minutes to fit. It took a lot of searching to find the part and the one I bought was the last one in stock, so if you have a manual check the gearbox mount now, there can't be many of these mounts left out there, get one while you still can. |

Yup, we got zero manuals over here sadly. A few guys have managed to fabricate the swap, but it wasn't easy. I always wanted to source the necessary parts from Europe and make a factory kit, but I never got around to making it a priority. A European contact would be a huge help. Someone in Europe might be able to make a good business out of selling such a kit. Not only are we short on diesels in the US, but we're especially short on manual transmission diesels!
