Hello all,
Out and about one day and slipped the ol' girl into 4WD full time and when finished put the lever all the way forward and the light says "4WD part-time"

The lever linkage seems to be a bit off as if I move it back one notch, the light goes out, but feel like its in 4WD. Crawled unnder and I don't see that there is any linkage to adjust thinking the sensor was slightly off...ANy ideas?

Thanks

Ken

PS-Have a Rock Lizard slider set and tank guard for sale if interested. Never installed. Contact if interested.

Hi,
I have had the same issue for some time. The sensor is on top of the TC and so is very hard to get to. If u can establish its in 2wd when the leaver is forward, just work on it being one spot off for the sensor. If I ever get to it I will try and unscrew the sensor and see if the indication goes out. If it does I will put a washer on the sensor to lift it. If not I will see if there is a washer on the sensor, remove it and see if that fixes it. Wont be doing it any time soon though. If you decide to try, please let us all know the outcome.

GREAT info, thanks

Is there a easy/good way to determine if it is or is not in 4WD?

I've had this problem a couple times after using 4wd low and switching back to 2wd. It is in 2wd, but the light says 4wd parttime. The light eventually goes out. Sometimes a few days, but sometimes a few weeks.
