I believe the lines to/from the cooler are 3/8". The Glowshift Tee fitting should work just fine. I used an aluminum "Tee" block gauge manifold and two Swageloc stainless fittings as pictured here. You can find the gauge manifold Tee blocks online at Summit Racing and Amazon and a few other places. https://www.amazon.com/Auto-Meter-2287- ... B00062YVP2 |

taroo wrote: As I was looking at the manifold you referenced earlier for the second temp sensor (Summit) I saw this from Glowshift as I was shopping for the second sensor. 1) is the transmission line a 5/16 or 3/8 inch? 2) do you see any reason that the Glowshift T-fitting will not work? I have one just like this in the output line to the cooler, which is in series with an additional B&M cooler in the grille. But I didn't get it at glowshift. I've seen 225F when climbing a slow, winding mountain grade in summer heat, jeep fully loaded but no trailer. |

WWDiesel wrote: The bolt in bung in the stock steel pan will work. But, IF you can afford it and want to put the icing on the cake so to speak, go for the aftermarket PML transmission oil pan. It adds several additional quarts of ATF capacity, has cooling fins inside & outside the pan, and comes pre-equipped with a large drain plug and a pre-taped hole for a temperature gauge sensor. Adding the PML oil pan really made a huge difference in lowering fluid temperatures while towing a loaded trailer versus the additional stacked plate oil cooler that I added much earlier. And if you want the every best oil pan gasket on the market, opt for the "LUBELOCKER" transmission oil pan gasket, they are fantastic. https://www.lubelocker.com/collections/ ... e-llt-crfe So is yours the 2.5 or 4 quart oversized model? I am still not pleased with my cooling capacity. |

The PML oil pan really made a huge difference in transmission cooling, never see temperature above 210 now even when towing a heavy loaded trailer in high ambient & high humidity conditions. |

And did you tap the sensor hole or did you pay the $75 to have PML do it? “ Yes, add drilling and tapping of a 1/8 NPT hole + $75.00” |

I was going to drill and tap it myself, but I did not have to. I purchased it from Geno's Garage; they specialize in products for diesel trucks. https://www.genosgarage.com/product/PML ... ssion-pans |

Add the PML deep sump oil pan, it makes a huge difference with the having the extra quarts of ATF especially when towing and / or hot weather driving. |

Yes that one should fit according to the transmission number. If you want the very best & reusable pan gaskets, get yourself one of these: LubeLocker Transmission pan Gasket LUB-LLT-CRFE https://www.lubelocker.com/products/chr ... e-llt-crfe |

Hoping that keeps the temp down with the loss of the OEM cooler (but addition of the Derale units mentioned earlier in the thread). |
