A few years back a set out to find my perfect crd, I found a 05 with 89k miles in Tennessee that had lived it’s life there and in North Carolina. I’ve enjoyed tinkering, upgrading and driving the rig but I’m up to three daughters and going to need a bigger rear seat. I posted on FB as a feeler but have been harassed a bit on my pricing (maybe by some of you guys). Please provide some guidance? 103k miles currently I have done the following since then: Timing Belt completed by local mechanic(he had done more than one previously) OME suspension all around Power stop front calipers, vented discs all around Rubicon wheels (including spare) Mopar replaced rear lca Jeepin by Al uca Moog lower ball joints, I regret this now… Brake system just getting sinkage’s up being serviced with new master cylinder and abs module It get a little weird here… If you run the carfax for this vehicle a jeep dealer replaced the motor around 50k miles (not 100% on mileage) Also when I got the vehicle the odometer was not working, I didn’t realize until I was on my way home…I had it fixed shortly after getting home. I don’t know how much detail to put in the add, but it’s a nice Jeep I’ve used as a daily drive even though I don’t drive much and as a easy trail ride on some gas roads so there is some light limb scratches, most could likely be buffed out. Pretty much no rust other than some paint bubbling in one spot below the tank fill and the front of the shocks…I wish I would have added a few layers of clear coat before install. Let me know what you guys think? I posted this on the tech thread accidentally, I apologize for the duplicate posts I’ll try to delete the other. |

Sold mine on FB in less than 24 hours asking $5900. Similarly modded, 155K, really solid Jeep. I would have asked more, but it had recently had hail damage, which I mostly repaired with a few hundred dollars worth of junkyard parts. I was fat and happy with my $2600 insurance check and the $5800 cash offer I took. Really miss her though. How much were you asking? |
