What year doors will fit on a 2005 Liberty

Post subject:  What year doors will fit on a 2005 Liberty
Does anyone know what years of Jeep Liberty have matching doors?

I hit an ice patch this morning, turned sideways and slid down the hill I was on. Hit a tree (side hit right between the doors) with my 2005 CRD going about 5 miles an hour. It wrecked my front and rear doors on the drivers side.

There is a 2004 Jeep Liberty at a junk yard that "looks" just like mine based on photos, but before I pull the doors wanted to know if they are actually the same doors.

Based on OEM part numbers, the doors are unique to 2005-2007 year models. 04's have a different part number.

Thank you. Knowing that 2005-2007 are a match give me more options, and is what I was looking for.

You can use the earlier doors, but the plastic trim pieces are different. I believe you can remove the trim pieces from your old door and attach it to the new door. I used a rear driver side door from a 2003 Liberty on my 2005.

Also the windows attach differently, so you may need to swap some parts if you are re-using your old window in the new door.
