For K&N air filter lovers! Or why to never use K&N air filters for your turbo charged diesel engine. Ever wonder why some people preach against K&N type air filters: Wix and Purolator One engine air filters were the top two filters in tests performed by Project Farm. K&N air filter came in dead last in almost every test except air flow. Shows why getting high air flow at the cost of high particle count (dirty) air is not a good choice in the long term. Watch the test YouTube Video here:> Which Car Air Filter is Best? Let's find out! Fram, K&N, Wix, Purolator, & AC Delco showdown Very informative!

& this is why Caterpillar void engine warranty if you use any K&N parts. Been the case for years on this side of the pond. If you wish to sandblast your bore, fit a K&N filter element! |
