I have a 3" lift on my 2006 Liberty Got some wheel adapters so that I can use the 5x5 rims. I'd like to put on some newer rims off of a wrangler with 255/70r18 tires. Will they fit or rub? |

Might have better luck posting in the "Tires, Tyres, Meats, Donuts & Wheels" section. But, the tires you list are really big. On thing for sure, if they "might" work, they would definitely need the pinch weld pounded flat. |

Judging from this thread, http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=84387, it seems that unlifted, even 30.5 inches is too big. According to Mountainman in the http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=89151 thread, with a 2.5" lift the 255/70's (32.5 inches) require a lot of other mods. The extra half inch your asking about probably won't change that much. Use the search function; somebody has probably tried it and explained what they did. |
