I am looking to see if there is a specific part number or a generic size to buy for the fuel return hose the goes from the solenoid to the distribution block?

The one I am looking for is the one that goes from the solenoid on the rail down to the distribution block, mine is green right now. It is short and has tight bends so I am hesitant to use a soft generic hose, I assume there might be a preformed replacement.

That answers that, of course it isn't available anymore, I'll take it down to the parts store and find a soft replacement and see how it goes.

Any good "Diesel Rated" hose of the correct size will function without any issues.
I believe the size is 5mm or 3/16" hose? Remove your old hose and use it to match up some new hose at the parts store.
NAPA should have the correct rated hose and size you need.

Be REAL carful of that plastic return line junction block, they are notorious for breaking.
If it breaks, you can make a new one out of a couple of brass"Tees" and some brass hose barb fittings.

Thanks a lot !!

Just a little question, why did you use a 3/16" elbow instead of a straight one ?

Did you change fuel return line rooting ?

Use what you like!
Elbow just seemed to make more sense to me for hose routing.
Nothing wrong with using a straight fitting, it would work just fine as well.

Are all materials compatible with diesel ?

Aluminum, stainless steel, nickel-plated steel, brass...

I recently changed the diesel return block (I bought the original part for €145 at a Jeep dealership).

So I took the opportunity to measure, and even draw in 3D, exactly this part. here are the real dimensions (in millimeters) :

Thanks for sharing the drawing, it is a nice one.

If you want to make your own fuel return block out of metal fittings, it can be done.

With pleasure, I hope this will be useful to someone

If other dimensions are needed I can provide this by PM.
