Is that the aluminum oil pan? If it is then you are in for quite a job. I did mine a while ago and you need to loosen the engine mounts, hang the engine on a support bar and then loosen the sub-frame bolts so that it comes down a bit in order to get enough clearance to get the oil pan out and the new gasket in. I can't remember if I had to loosen the oil pickup tube as well otherwise it gets in the way of pulling the oil pan out between the engine block and the sub-frame. |

bummer It is what i was afraid of.. in your experience, it is better lift the engine than take down the diferencial ? |

If I remember correctly the sub-frame is the thing that is in the way and not really the front diff. The service manual also says to lift and support the engine while dropping the sub-frame slightly. Just remember that if you remove the oil pickup tube (I cant remember if I had to remove it, and rather don't remove it if it isn't necessary) to make sure that it is seated properly into the engine block again before tightening the bolts as the tube has two O-rings that needs to be 100% seated otherwise air will be sucked instead of oil... and then you might have oil pressure issues and the whole job needs to be repeated again just to seat the oil pick-up tube. Here's a picture of what the tube looks like so that you can see what I mean by the O-rings. https://www.ebay.com/itm/183652752298
