Been having trouble with auto gearbox faults coming up - temperature sensor intermittent and MS solenoid fault. Would only happen when cold. Once warmed up and codes cancelled, would drive all day with no problems. Replaced gearbox computer and still same problem. Replaced the AC accumulator bracket the other day as I left it out for convenience in case I had to swap the computer out again. Moved the gearbox harness around during the process and now no more faults. Wonderful how Jeeps can heal themselves. Similar thing happened with the fuse for the engine computer. Blew three fuses over a couple of weeks. Had it running playing around with the engine harness, engine faulted for a fraction of a second then continued running. No further problems and that was about three years ago. |
