If this has been covered I do apologize. I couldn't find
A thread on it.
I already have the lift pump. Just lost my job and my liberty is pretty much not drivable. Soon as I get around 2000+ rpm my jeep shuts off I can put it in neutral turn the key off and it will fire right back up and continues to do the same thing. And throws a p0093 code. So my question is
Has anyone installed the pump and built there own harness ?
Have the pin out out which wire does what on the pump and the car side. I need to beat the street and find a job so I need this thing running. I can't afford the $200+ for a harness. Not this close to holidays and bill time but I don't have a problem building a harness.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm in a pretty bad spot and lost my company truck.

I modified my harness simply by adding two additional wires (14ga wires) and the correct APEX connectors that I got from Mouser Electronics.
See this for instructions:> http://www.auerbach.ca/kj/lift_pump/default.html
You have to have the two APEX wire connectors for the connector on top of the fuel tank module, but under the rear seat you could simply bypass the connector for the power wire. The other wire simply grounds to the body. see drawing

Additional info:

male, 14-16 gauge wire
female, 14-16 gauge wire

Lift pump installed, I have 9 to 10 psi coming out of the fuel pump head. Still does same thing shuts off at 2000ish
Rpms. Turn the key off and then it'll fire right up.

Sounds like you are running out of fuel rail pressure?
Do you have any way of monitoring the fuel rail pressure with a scanner?
Several things can cause this, but you have got to know what the rail pressure is doing to properly diagnose it.

My buddy has a snap on Solus I'll have to grab it tomorrow and see what kind of pressure it has.

Idle fuel pressure 6374 psi
1500 rpm 10646 psi
It kind of bounces around a little

So I've been doing some research and run across a diagnosis write up by Oregon fuel injection.
On the fuel pressure solenoid if you take the return line aff at the rail there shouldn't be fuel coming out at idle and mine has a steady stream of fuel pouring out of it
Think I'm going to order one and see if it'll fix my p0093 issue.

You say that it dies at 2000 RPM? Doesn't that mean you have to test to at least 2000 RPM also?
