Hello all. Happy new year.

Its been awhile since I posted here. My CRD has had few issues [besides a wifes mishap].
Last year I had a plug code error. To get the plugs out the shop had to remove the head.. 4K later..

Other than those no issues until today.

Mine is a 2005 with 155k mi.

While at the store in town, upon startup the engine stated making an very odd noise and rattle. I had no dummy light on the dash. I can only describe it as the engine seemed to be on "1/2 power", as if only 1 or 2 plugs were active, but I had no smoke. Upon pressing the peddle it would not accelerate past 2000rpm [in neutral].
Since I was near the dealer I was hoping i could get it there [our home was 40mi away].
I shut it off for about 5min. Started it back up and it was as if nothing happened. We ended our town trip early and it seemed to be fine all the way home on the highway.

Anyone have any ideas? ..happen to anyone else?
