Hey guys, my mechanic moved out of state and I need someone who actually knows how to work on these engines. Pretty sure I blew a head gasket and I REALLY don't wanna do the work myself... Anyone in California (I'm in the bay area) wanna take on the job? Or does anyone know a qualified mechanic in the area?

What are your symptoms? Coolant system pressure, coolant in oil, oil in coolant or coolant on injectors is about the only sure signs.

white smoke out the exhaust, loss in coolant/coolant pressure, coolant in provent... :(

Do you have a garage to work on it? Maybe a guest room and a fridge stocked with beer? It's snowing here...

By the way you are due for new rockers and valves if that hasn't been done yet.

Sounds like blown head gasket, pretty big job. I just did it myself.
