You could contact CaptainDean (message or email him) on this forum, he probably has the most experience with rear main seals on this engine that I am aware of.

looking for advice on correctly installing the small orange. I got the idparts kit with the rear main seal a big o-ring, and a small o-ring. the big o-ring and seal are self-expanitory, but the small o-ring doesn't seem to have a groove to seat it in the new main seal. any help would be appreciated. |

Thank you. I need to double check that I switched over the thrust washer properly. |
