Post subject:  Green Diesel Engineering Transmission Tuning
GDE just (re)released two versions of transmission tuning on the KJ CRD. There is an ECO tune that upshifts earlier and add more converter lock-up for maximum fuel economy. There is also a TOW tune that holds 4th gear longer and pushes out 5th gear slightly to have optimum engine rpm when towing and reduced gear hunting. The full shift maps are on GDE website for review at link below:

For those of us in SE MI, can we drive the TCM up to you and wait around while it gets flashed, or do we have to mail it in?

GDE, is this an improved version over the one I have from you back in 2016? If so, would you recommend upgrading?

No plans to offer engine tuning, just the transmission tune options.
