Hey all, looking for someone with firsthand experience in a full-on failure of an original torque converter. What was you experience and symptoms. Could a complete failure of the TC lock the motor from turning? Fingers crossed she is not headed to the scrap yard..........yet. Thank you, |

If it did though you are looking at a complete tranny rebuild. I had one blow out on my CTD and it sent metal shards throughout the tranny. Luckily it was under warranty. |
