Got in vehicle yesterday morning. Started it up (first start after 12 hours) had a low coolant light, checked the coolant it was a little lower than normal but my big concern was when I took the cap off there was a pressure release. I just ran it after being cold overnight for 60 seconds and opened it there was no pressure release and coolant appears to be at same level as yesterday. I am thinking head gasket but not sure after this mornings test. Before I go buy another vehicle today I just want to verify my fears |

When it's cold and off, open the reservoir cap to release any residual pressure,/vacuum. Reinstall the cap, start it up and rev it up a couple times then shut it off. If you hear a pressure change you have a problem. |

Thank you. I tried that, there was no pressure change. Any reason why It would have done that just a singular time? Doesn't really matter I guess as I went ahead and traded it in. it was just time and I needed more seats. Along those lines I appreciate everyones help throughout the years. |
