It is time to part with my 2006 Liberty CRD Limited. It is my daily driver and it starts, stops, handles just fine. No/little smoke on hard acceleration. Very clean interior especially rear seats that are usually folded down. Body has some minor rust at bottom of doors and around 3rd brake light. The tailgate has some rust around spare tire mount, and a dent where my boat trailer hit. But tailgate opens, closes and seals just fine. No frame rot. EGR system is intact, but for the past year or so, I've had a plate in the EGR tube blocking it off, so it throws a CEL for low EGR flow. No other error codes show up on my OBD scanner. Update 18 December 2023: I traded this CRD in at Tulley BMW in Nashua, NH. I believe they will be selling it to some auction house. You might reach out to Tulley if you're interested in tracking it down to see if they can give you more information. They gave me $3,000 as a trade-in. I suppose it could end up at another used car dealer or at some pick-and-pull salvage yard. Lots of good parts in it: new alternator and battery; SAMCO silicone hoses, glow plugs, wheel hub assemblies and an upper control arm. It was running great when I said goodbye Saturday. The CEL is on only because I plugged the EGR tube. Lots of good parts there for anyone: engine, CAC, tranny, axles, wheels, seats, turbocharger.
