Hello people: :D

Need help getting all my OBD2 monitors ready for DMV inspection in 3 days.

Background: Thought everything was fine last week, then noticed check engine light was on. Hidden behind steering wheel from my view, don't know how long it was on.
Minor problem, glow plug #4 had gone bad.
Last Sunday replaced glowplug and cleared codes.
Drove total of 120 miles Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. 2 complete cold started each day. drove city, highway and trails
copied drive cycles for my 1997 K1500, thinking would be something close.
K1500 I can get monitors reset in one day.

Just checked Jeep with OBD2 meter.....shocked that ONLY the 'CC' is set...nothing else!!! Know there are around 5 or 6 OBD2 monitors/checks that need to be set.

Only 3 days before DMV inspection is due, or $150 penalty if late, so starting to panic.

Have seen drive cycle list Jeep Liberty 3.7L drive cycles, but not list for 2.8L CRD

Please send me any links, references or suggestions for getting OBD2 set to pass DMV inspection.

Thanks!!

Going out driving again after this post.

18 views and no replies. Also not finding anything specific to Jeep Liberty CRD OBD2 monitor reset on-line.
Need to ask a big favor here.

Could somebody with Liberty CRD that has OBD2 fully set please hook up your OBD2 reader and tell me what letters are highlighted(set)? List letters or post picture.

Know I should have done this before clearing codes, and will do it and add to maintenance book as soon as OBD2 is fully set.

Update:
Going by drive cycles for Chrysler from this website:
https://justsmogs.com/2014/01/chrysler- ... -monitors/

According to this website there are 7 OBD2 items that need to be set.
After 5 hours of driving, many cycles of idle, drive, idle and 305 miles of driving....have 4 monitors set.
By my OBD2 meter they are letters: M, F, CC, and E
Not 100% sure exactly which letter matches with OBD2 monitor.
thinking 3 more that I need are that are not set are:
Letters O, OH, and EV. Very likely those are for Oxygen and Oxygen Heater.
EV likely Evaporator system.
But this list is for sure for gasser. Don't know how well this applies to CRD
So asking again, could somebody with CRD please hook up OBD2 meter and tell me what letters are suppose to be set
Thanks.

Took 305 miles of driving, but got OBD2 monitors set and passed DVM

Turns out OBD2 letters/monitors M, F, CC, and E are the only ones that are used.

If anybody is interested will dig into my OBD2 reading and see what exactly those letter mean.

Otherwise, closing out this litter drama.

Yes, please post the meanings of those letters and how it all works.
I am sure there are some that would love to know.
Please Note, they are quite different for compression ignition engines like our Jeep Liberty Diesels vs spark ignition engines (Gassers)!

This is a very good tutorial on how the OBD2 Readiness Monitors & Drive Cycles function:
