I have a new to me 2005 liberty crd. When you turn the key no crank. The actuator and ignition switch both check out. The sentry light is on solid. Keys/skim modules have already been tried and does not make a difference. Have checked grounds fuses relays. Now I am moving on to checking wiring/ecm/fcm/tcm. I have pin out diagrams and some wiring diagrams but am not familiar with these rigs. I was under the impression a skim issue would allow crank but not start or only start for a few seconds. Any advice on where you would start?

Have you tried jumping the starter relay and if so does it spin the engine over ok?
Have you tried swapping out the ASD relay with one of the other relays of the same size with the same number of pins.

Just curious, where are located?

If you can get the vehicle to Eric O's South Main Auto LLC. at: 47 S Main St, Avoca, NY 14809,
he is a super smart technician especially when it comes to diagnosing advanced electrical issues.
He is in western NY.

I cannot argue with you on that. He is definently a good tech and is not real far from me. Was just hoping to eliminate whatever I could on my own and save a few bucks before I commit to sending it to a shop.
