Hi, Newby here. Trying to find out where to add/change the trim code for injectors. Access to both a DRB III and MPPS-V21. Had "Black Death" on Injector 1 and have replaced it with a different Bosch injector Runs OK but there is a noticeable engine beat/shudder when accelerating. Went through all the DRB III menus (as far as I can tell) but wasn't able to find anything other than "Injector Type" with options 1,2 or 3 ECU Part No: 56044679AA Extracted ECU information from MPPS Ecu Selection = Jeep Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD Bosch EDC15C2 Bosch Hardware Number 0281011409 Bosch Software Number 1037367438 Original Injector:0445110 204 Trim:091104 Replacement injector:0445110 203 Trim:210722 Also interested in a mild firmware mod with EGR/FCV/DTC code delete, to give it a bit more go. It has the 4-Speed Auto. Have dumped out the current firmware (approx 512kb) Any and all help appreciated. |

See this video to use the DRB to look/change your injector code for your ECU. https://m.youtube.com/watch?si=veC4i_Yc ... e=youtu.be Although you don't really need to do it, the jeep will run just fine without "knowing" what injectors it has installed in what position. The fuel trim levels are super minute and you "may" sense a smoother idle. But hey if you got a DRB then go for it. **BONUS** Coincidently, that same video also shows how to reprogram an ECU to your jeep too |
