I've had to prime the fuel filter in the past, but now she just won't start, even when primed. Could it be a clogged filter, or some other issue? She still doesnt have a lift pump, which I would like to do, but not sure if thats the next step?
Thank you

Does the primer get hard as a rock when you prime the system?
When you primed it, did you bleed all the air out with the bleeder screw at the filter head?
When was the last time you changed the fuel filter?

Putting in a in-tank lift pump will solve all the issue with air in the fuel as long as the lines are still good.

Other things it could be is the crank position sensor. Its a common symptom of a crank/no start.

I bleed the air, then give it another pump or two, at which point it gets very hard. Cant remember when I last changed the fuel filter, couple years probably. I assume the crank sensor would throw an error, which I havent gotten when it has started. Time for a fuel filter?

Don't let it fool you, more times than not, the CPS never sets any active DTC's when it starts failing. Mine put me on the side of the road twice and never set any DTC.
Many have reported experiencing the same phenomena when their CPS failed.

Okay, should I start with the filter? Is there a test for the CPS? Pretty sure I replaced it once already.

I would start with the CPS again and use a quality part from a reputable supplier like ID parts. There is no test for the CPS.

For the fuel filter, its up to you if you want to change it. If you do change it, I would partial fill it with Power Service Diesel Kleen and then the rest with diesel. Ensure that you bleed all the air out again with the bleeder screw.
