My 05 CRD died.
Mechanic said the Front Control Module (FCM) -- 56044599AF was water logged and I need a new one.

I know this is a discontinued part. Anyone here have a spare they can sell or know of a reputable source that sells/rebuilds these?

Also I believe this part doesn't need to be programmed to the libby. Am I correct?

Not a lot of options unfortunately.
Find one in a bone yard or an owner who has one they are willing to sell, or is parting an 05 out and will sell you the FCM.
Or you may reach out to one of the online computer rebuilders like FlagShip1 and see if they can rebuild yours or make a recommendation as to who may can.
