Hi all, I've got 2 short block assemblies with a dropped valve in one piston, as well as 3 used pistons I planned to use to get the short block put back together ready for a head. Never got around to it, and I never needed to for any project vehicle. Now these days with complete engines being so cheap at the pull it yourself junkyards I've just been grabbing complete spare engines when I needed one. I'm pretty much to the point that I can't see wanting to replace a piston to use a bottom end since I have complete spares here. Is anyone these days messing with putting together engines from short blocks/rebuilding them? Kinda figure at this point they ought to just go out in the next scrap run so I can have the room back in the shop. Thoughts? |

I always support hoarding. And, yes, I have a hoarding problem too. |
