I have 113,729 on my 04 Sport but I don't know if mine counts since it was flat towed most of it's life. That was the biggest reason why we bought it. I'm guessing it has around 50k actual driven miles.

175,000... kms.

About 109,375 miles.

Not much to complain about yet!

Re the flat towing, couldn't they have disconnected the battery, and not worried about accumulating so many miles? Or does the odometer still work without power somehow?

The flat towing was before we bought it. I saw it at the back of a dealer lot and went to look at it. I happened to notice the towbar setup so i started looking it over and relized the deal I had stumbled apon... I haggeled them a bit and the next day we drove it off the lot. It had a little over 90k on it when we bought it in June 08

I realized that, I was just theoretically wondering... whether it would be possible... although perhaps less than ethical?

Sorry I was responding to Jarhead and I forgot the whole "QUOTE" thingy   I think the previous owners were old enough they didnt care about the miles. It must have been a smores getter :D

Just under 118,000 miles on an 03 Sport 4 cylinder/ 5 speed.

So far no serious issues. I replaced the clutch at about 35K because the throwout bearing was going out. Both rear windows have been taped up for years...will fix that some day. Inside, the seats are stained from mud and water, full of dog hair. That said, the important areas are still good. The engine is sound, I've run synthetic oil and it doesn't smoke or use oil. Just had the wheel bearings checked, still good. Hoping to make 200+k before replacing engine with something else.

I figured I'd add to this post.

I have an 03 Limited and we have just over 120,000 on it. We bought it in 04 with 15,000 on it. We've done all routine maintenance and recalls including the LBJ's a while back. Only recently have we started to have to replace things other than standard little wear items and are moving into the larger items. We replaced the PS pump, rack, and HP hose last year and now it looks like there is something wrong with either the CV's, Hubs, T-case, u-joints, or front drive line (I posted a topic a few days ago on this). Otherwise it has held up well for us. I'm hoping to either drive it forever, or trade it in for a wrangler (I miss the other two that I've had ) :D
