22.1 mpg on the last tank....it was 90/10 hwy/city driving. and the city driving was mostly stopping and going behind a darn school bus on a windy road, so it was the worst type of city driving. i'm quite happy with those figures

Last tank?

how about my last 5 tanks!!

16.5 about 40/60
14.75 about60/40
13.75 about 60/40
10.75 = 100% city- very cold
13.0 about 75/25

the best we have gotten in the last year was 19.2 mpg.

That was back in August on a 227 mile, one way highway trip with the cruise set at 67mph all the way.

sounds about normal to me....when im at college (starkville, ms) i'm in a very small town, so i rarely go much over 40, and it's never for any more than 1 minute. A typical 2 mile trip from my apt to campus involves about 6 stops. I avg about 12-14 mpg at the most, and I have to baby the throttle. If I'm back at home (memphis, tn) I get about 16-17 mpg. The trips back at home involve much more cruising.

23.42mpg

300 miles in 2 wheel drive.
100 miles in fulltime 4 wheel drive.

Not too bad considering I used 4wd 25% of the time.

My last tank of gas? 29 mpg in town with the a/c on most of the time! Oh, did I mention that since gasoline prices have shot up into the $3 range again I have parked my Liberty and started driving my ’01 Accord (2.3L I4, 5-speed manual)? Yes, unfortunately over the last 10,000 miles I averaged only 16.75 mpg in the Liberty (13.68 mpg on my last tank). I just can’t afford to feed the jeep at these gas prices when I have an alternative.

I tried acetone as an additive on a couple of tanks but that was a bust so I switched vehicles. It's maddening  but during the last month I have only driven the Jeep to haul stuff or during severe weather. In the Honda I get 29 mpg and I can go 435 miles per tank (compared to 300 in the Liberty). I fill up less often, about once every week and a half compared to weekly, and when I do fill up it costs me $10 less.

Maybe there is a CRD in my future. Until then I just gotta do what I gotta do...

Last City driving only tank = 17.8MPG (this was after adding the FIPK, prior to that 15-16 was normal). Haven't tracked it with the cat-back in town yet.

Highway only consistent 20-21MPG, and that's the wife driving 70-75 without the cruise. I know I can do better! (this was with the FIPK and cat-back). I hit 21 once before, when totally stock and cruise set at 65.

The biggest gain came from adding the K&N FIPK. The Gibson cat-back helped some, but haven't measured an in town tank yet with it.

Matt

Last 1/2 tank was 19.5 mpg, calculated the old fashion way, this was mostly highway. The highest mileage I got was about 23 mpg.

Last tank was 18.1 per EVIC with 75% hwy/25% in town and a little 4-full time in a rainstorm.

14.9 around town mostly. Use to get 17 before they started using the ethonal octane booster. Noticed the difference as soon as they switched.

232.7 miles ( 140 highway-93 city)=24.7mpg CRD

By my GPS the miles were off by 2 every 60 miles traveled ( odometer reads 60...GPS reads 62-speedo is off by the same 2mph at 60 )

17mpg for the very first tank. This is ALL city bumper-to-bumper with the ac blazing. This should improve slightly as the engine breaks in.
