I traded in my 2005 Honda Element for a 2008 Liberty Limited with all the bells and whistles. Test drove smaller cars.....Honda Civic, Mazda 3 (which I used to own), Toyota Rav 4, Honda CRV.......once I got into the Liberty there was no comparison anymore!!!!! I know the gas mileage isn't as great as those others, but I am having such a blast with my new Liberty and the skyslider roof that I wouldn't trade it for anything else out there. My job is about 15 miles round trip a week, so I don't really consider that very bad. And I love to take the Jeep out of town....into Indianapolis or Chicago....every once in awhile.
I'm a 61 year young female, and this my Jeep to have fun in whatever the gas price may be in the future.
Sure hope all of you are enjoying yours.....regardless of the fuel prices ( which are a big manipulation, anyways )

Got 20.5 MPG on a recent trip to Chicago...400 miles round trip. Have 3000 miles on my Liberty so far. This is still a break-in period isn't it?? Might get a little more once I get up there in mileage. But I was happy with that. I am soooo enjoying my new Liberty, that the mileage is fine with me at this point. My Honda Element I traded in didn't get much better.........so I'm used to this! 8) 8) 8)
