Any benefit with going to the dealer for parts over a NAPA/Autozone/Advanced?

if you want to pay double for parts sure go to the dealer otherwise go to NAPA for most everything , I have always trusted their stuff more than the others mentioned

Napa has quality parts, I'd never hesitate to use anything that I bought there on the KJ.

Advance is a bit cheaper, but sometimes you can tell by looking at the part.

Things I've had to do since turning 100K (aside from regular maintenance)...

- new brake lines (passenger one side failed while I was driving it )
- new cv joints
- installed new shift kit after stock accumulator plate failed (45RFE) - easily checked when you do a tranny flush

... just things to look at.

I don't think he needs to worry about CV's.. 8)

I'm at 142,000 and I am still on the original belt and tensioner, and original hoses...
As Tom would say  I'm on borrowed time...
And I am.... But I'm broke as a Joke right now. So Right now, I say, if it aint broke, don't fix it...

If you have the cash.. Might as well do everything Troy listed... Preventative Maintenance is key to a happy Jeep.

Probably not the brake lines either... assuming you have to get longer ones when you do a SFA swap.

Didn't pay attention to his sig...
