sorry no pic of the KJ..... but the veiw is from Portage Glaicer, Anchorage (was converting a K-mart to a Home Depot there last year.....

I remember when that glacier came all the way down to the water. It was a huge deal when it receded so that land was visible underneath. Did you take the boat ride to get close?

no u can drive up to the center there and walk up this way..... i'm actually standing on the glaicer in shorts, tank-top and sandels..... beautiful day
